Nakia Brooks – Having been in real estate since 2006, Nakia has sold hundreds of homes. Specializing in listings, REO’s and short sales, he has prevented foreclosures for many homeowners. He has sat on short sale panels both locally and nationally; teaching is a passion of Nakia’s. He began teaching at the police academy in 2003 and has continued his passion in Real Estate
Nakia has sat on the Board of Directors at the I-85 North Board of REALTORS® and currently sitting on the Board of Directors for NAMAR for 2019-2021. Nakia is a graduate of the 2019 Georgia Association of REALTORS® Leadership Academy. He is a member of several REALTOR® committees as well.
Lt. Debra Kalish – is a career law enforcement officer with over 24 years of experience in the Metro Atlanta area. She has worked in a number of capacities during her career, the majority of which have been devoted to personal safety and crime prevention.
As a detective, Debbie specialized in working cases involving crimes against women and children. As a school resource officer, she developed and implemented specialized training courses designed to teach students about cyber safety and personal safety. Finally, as a team leader in hostage negotiations, Debbie gained extensive experience diffusing incidents involving hostages, barricaded subjects and suicide threats.
For the past 11 years, Debbie has created and overseen the Community Services Programs Division for the Johns Creek Police Department. Designing and implementing programs in Crime Prevention. Debbie’s true passion, however, is engaging women and teen girls through training courses that focus on personal safety and self-empowerment. This training program called READY – Women and Teen Safety & Self- Defense has taught to hundreds of women and teens. Debbie’s many courses include Cyber Safety, radKIDS, Active Shooter.
Debbie holds certifications as a Defensive Tactics Instructor, ALERRT (Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training) Instructor, FBI-LEEDA/Life Lock Identity Theft Instructor, PTSD Responding to Retuning Veterans Instructor, Emergency Medical Instructor, radKIDS Instructor, Georgia POST (Police Officer Standards and Training Council) Instructor, Crisis/Hostage negotiator, and CART (Child Abduction Response Team) CEPTED (Crime Preventions Through Environmental Design) and many more.
Sabrina Lowery is a REALTOR®, the Founder, and Qualifying Broker of Legacy Realty & Management, LLC, and has been a member of the National Association of REALTORS® since 2003. Mrs. Lowery is also the Founder and Chief Technology Officer for Sabrina Lowery Enterprises, LLC, a business and technology consulting firm headquartered in Atlanta, GA. Sabrina has earned multiple certifications and designations in real estate and business including ePRO®, GREEN, ABR, AHWD, and Property Management. Lowery is the founder of The Geek Tank Academy, an online hub of courses for personal and professional development. She is also a licensed Instructor with the Georgia Real Estate Commission teaching continuing education classes for numerous real estate schools. Mike Nelson – has a degree in Real Estate from the University of Georgia, is a licensed broker, has the GRI designation from NAR, along with the RMP and MPM designations from NARPM.
Mike teaches property management and real estate investing for NARPM, the Georgia Association of Realtors, and other real estate organizations across the country. The Georgia Real Estate Commission selected Mike to serve on their Education Advisory Committee to represent the property management industry.
