Instructors Gone Wild
Terry Watson
Welcome to the new world of real estate education. Students no longer expect to be simply informed, they expect to be entertained. Thanks to the internet and text messaging, the average student has the attention span of a gnat. In today’s classroom, you are in competition with iPads, iPods, text messaging, smartphones, Farmville, Texas Hold Em Poker, and Angry Birds. Unfortunately, presentation is more important than content.
In addition, your students are probably writing a review on you during class and posting it to Yelp, Foursquare, or Facebook. Never before has an bored or disgruntled student been able to voice their opinion to millions of people instantly with a click of a mouse. If you are not on top of your game, you will not be in business.
Cutting edge research has consistently proven that students who are awake, learn more.
In this session, you will learn how to be informative, funny, and effective.
