Kay Evans

Kay Evans has been active in real estate education in Georgia since 1988 when she became Director of Georgia Institute of Real Estate.  She received her DREI designation in 1989.  Kay taught on the GRI faculty in Georgia for 10 years.  As an educator she has been recognized numerous times through the years for her contributions to real estate education by REEA.  Early in her teaching career she was selected as Educator of the Year, and awarded the President’s Award for a Distinguished Career in Real Estate Education.  She co-authored the first Georgia Instructor’s Training course with Tripp Anderson.   Kay has served on the education advisory committee to Georgia Real Estate Commission for several years.

In 1999 Kay and her business partner, Bob Kilinski launched Keller Williams Realty in Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama.  They have 61 offices and 6,000+ agents.  Kay currently serves on the Master Faculty for Keller Williams Realty International where she teaches leadership courses.  She won the CEO Award for excellence in 2003 and was recognized as one of Atlanta’s 10 Most Successful Business People by Jezebel Magazine.

She has been married to her husband, Glen for 50 years.  They have a son and a daughter and 5 grand daughters.
