· 1983 to present. Self employed as a residential real estate appraiser specializing in FHA, litigation,
and statistical analysis.
· 1994 to present. Owner and primary instructor for John M. Bryant, Inc. DBA The Real Estate
Information Management School. Courses such as the National USPAP Courses, Prelicensing,
Licensing, and Certified Appraiser Core Curriculum Courses are taugt. Residential continuing
education courses such as FHA Appraisal Techniques, Statistical Analysis, Georgia Appraisal Law,
and Residential Appraisal Review are taught on a regular basis.`
· 1973 to 1983. Real estate sales agent for various real estate companies in Lynchburg, Virginia.
· 1972 to 1983. Attended college with various part-time jobs.
· 1966 to 1971. United States Army. Discharged in 1971 as a Captain in the AGC Corps. Vietnam
and Korea veteran.
Notable Accomplishments as an Instructor/speaker
· December 2006. Speaker for the Georgia State sponsored annual teachers meeting at the University
of Georgia. The topic was Technology in the Classroom.
· July 2005. Speaker for a seminar sponsored by the Georgia Attorney General’s office for the
Gwinnett County Police Department and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. The topic was
Recognizing Appraisal Fraud.
· June 2003. Speaker at the first annual Georgia Real Estate Fraud Prevention Action Committee
(GREFPAC). The topic was Recognizing Appraisal Fraud.
· October 2000. Instructor for the prelicense course for HUD employees at the Southeast Region
Homeonwership Center.
